FIND OF THE WEEK

I was going through my usual thrifting routine at Eva B  on St-Laurent when I literally stumbled upon some old sewing patterns from the 80s (they were lying on the floor, lost in a pile of books and unidentifiable objects (??)), I even found one from Vogue! It turns out paper patterns go back to the middle of the 19th century and made their first appearance in the magazine Mme. Demorest’s Mirror of Fashion soon after, in 1860. Quite fascinating...

It seems that it is now my turn to make good use of them.

INSPO OF THE DAY

A few weeks ago, I thought I would give Woody Allen a try so I watched Manhattan Murder Mystery (1993). I won't lie, I was quite disappointed but the final scene turned out to be quite pleasing. I can't tell if it was because of the characters' outfits or the end's atmosphere, maybe it was both... Anyways, here's a quick sketch of it, hope you like it!
